Matt Lee is originally from Cullman, AL. He grew up fishing Lake Guntersville with his brother, Jordan. His love for the sport only grew with age. Matt attended Auburn University and is pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering. While working to earn his degree he fished on the Auburn University Bass Fishing Team, serving as President during the 2011-2012 Year. During his Junior year at Auburn he won the College BASS College Bracket which jumpstarted his career and allowed him to compete in the 2013 Bassmaster Classic. His brother, Jordan, won the 2014 Bassmaster College Classic Bracket allowing him to compete in the 2014 Bassmaster Classic. Matt and Jordan both compete on the Bassmaster Elite Series and are the first brothers in the history of the sport to qualify for the Elites in the same year. The Lee Brothers continue to climb the ranks with Matt’s 4 top 12 finishes and 25th in the 2017 AOY Race while Jordan won the Bassmaster Classic. In 2019, both Jordan and Matt began competing on the new Bass Pro Tour presented by Major League Fishing. Fishing as a sport is continuing to grow at leaps and bounds and Matt is excited about new opportunities in the Bass Pro Tour.
